Welcome!
This is Matthew Dudik's portfolio. To get started, take a look at my projects page. To learn more about me, stay and keep reading. I'm currently a mechanical engineer at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory where I work on nuclear safety systems for Nimitz-Class aircraft carriers. I graduated in from the University of Pittsburgh in August 2017 with my BS in mechanical engineering. Before the University of Pittsburgh I went to St. John's College in Annapolis, MD, where I got a B.A. in the liberal arts. At St. John's, I wrote my thesis on the scientific progression from Ptolemaic planetary theory to Newton's gravitational theory of planetary motion. After graduating from St. John's College, I traveled to Pittsburgh, PA to work for Master Halco chain link fences, where I sold fences to approximately 75 contractors in western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio, West Virginia and western Maryland. After about a year and a half at Master Halco, I decided I wanted to do something more technical, so in 2015 I started an undergraduate career at the University of Pittsburgh, from which I graduated summa cum laude in 2017. I have a wide range of hobbies that include rowing, playing my French horn, cycling, hiking and taking things apart. |
